Meet the Founder
A Visionary
Through my work, I have witnessed firsthand how many vulnerable women fall through the cracks during the transition from adolescence into adulthood. Far too often, young people aging out of foster care enter adulthood without stable housing, consistent mentorship, life-skills training, healthy support systems, or trusted adults to guide them.
These gaps significantly increase their vulnerability to homelessness, exploitation, trafficking, abusive relationships, and cycles of poverty.
JJ's Home of Refuge 3:16 was created to help bridge that gap.
Our mission is to provide young women aging out of foster care with safe housing, mentorship, life-skills training, educational support, workforce development, spiritual encouragement, and long-term community connections that empower them to thrive.
By intervening early, we seek to reduce the risk factors that often lead to exploitation and trafficking while creating pathways toward independence, stability, and hope.
Our vision is not simply to provide shelter.
Our vision is to help young women discover their purpose, heal from past trauma, build healthy futures, and become confident, self-sustaining leaders within their communities.
At JJ's Home of Refuge 3:16, we believe every young woman deserves more than survival.

About JJ'S Home of Refuge
Meet Casey and Ms. Andrea
When I met Casey at 18, she was a deeply wounded young woman, yearning for love and guidance after countless nights filled with tears and prayers. Today, she has found Christ, graduated from high school, and is now in college. She is accomplishing everything others said she couldn’t.
Although the journey has its challenges, Casey is now convinced that with the right support, she can achieve anything. The best is yet to come. Ms. Andrea is excited to help many more young women like Casey who need a second chance.
